Homemade Healthy Margarita Pizza

healthy, low-fat version of the classic italian margarita pizza
Ingredients
- OAT FLOUR DOUGH:
- 1 ½ cup Oat flour, firmly packed
- ¼ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- ¼ tsp Salt
- ¼ tsp Garlic powder
- ¼ tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 ½ tsp Baking powder
- 2 Large eggs
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 2 tbsp Plain non-fat Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp Water[br]
- TOPPINGS:
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 3-4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2-3 roma tomatoes, thinly sliced
- ¾ cup low-fat shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¼ cup basil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray a 9×9 pie dish, round cake pan, or springform pan with cooking spray.
- In a medium bowl, combine the dry ingredients (for the dough) first, then add the wet ingredients and stir to combine, until a dough forms.
- Press dough into prepared pan.
- Bake dough for 10 minutes at 400 degrees.
- Once dough is done, brush crust with 1 tsp olive oil and sprinkle minced garlic evenly over the crust.
- Sprinkle cheese evenly over the crust and top with tomato slices.
- Bake for an additional 5-10 minutes or until crust turns golden brown.
- Remove from oven and top with shredded basil.
- Slice into 8 pieces, serve and enjoy.
