Instead of drenching your tuna with mayonnaise (making it a caloric no-no), try this tuna salad cucumber recipe instead! It’s full of flavor, super healthy and great for the kids too!

Healthy Tuna Salad Cucumber Bites

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole cucumber
  • 1-can white albacore tuna
  • ½ medium avocado
  • ⅛ cup finely chopped red onion
  • ⅛ cup finely chopped tomato
  • ½ lime
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Directions:

  1. Scoop out half an avocado and mash well.
  2. Squeeze half a lime into the avocado mix.
  3. Drain tuna from can and mix into avocado mixture.
  4. Add onion, tomato, salt & pepper and mix until well combined.
  5. Cut cucumber into ½ inch slices. Top them with the tuna/avocado mixture, or lay them out for dipping/scooping.
