Juicing For Weight Loss and Cleanse

Juicing For Weight Loss and CleanseJuicing cleanse can be merited with a lot of benefits for our bodies. It is completely possible to lose up to 40 pounds during the first week of juice fasting. A lot of it will be water weight, but it still warrants as a great start to any weight loss regimen.

After the initial week, you can experience anywhere between half a pound to one pound of weight loss every day. How much weight a person loses on the juicing diet depends on their level of activity and the quantity of juice they drink.

What Can You Expect

Juicing is simply consuming lots of fruits and vegetables in juice form (see the differences of juicing vs. blending).  Just go to the supermarket and buy all the ones you like. Start with the basics such as apples, pears, grapes, grapefruit, lettuce, watercress, etc. Juice them up and drink the juice at the times you would take your meals and snacks.

The juice diet is famous because of its nutritional potency. Unlike some other fad diets, the juice diet isn’t ripping you off of beneficial nutrients that only food can give you. In addition, juices are perfect for cleansing and detoxifying our body from harmful elements that we have subjected ourselves to living in the cities full of pollution etc. In fact, juices are a disease-killing source of energy and power. As a Scottsdale personal training expert, I recommend that everyone goes on a juice cleanse at least once a year for a minimum of one week.

In order to truly thrive off vegetables alone, our bodies need one pound of vegetables for every 50 pounds of a person’s weight. And by consuming healthy juices, a person can provide their body of these essential nutrients. Also, juices make it easier for our bodies to process and fully utilize all of a veggie’s goodness since it doesn’t have to deal with the fiber present in fruits and vegetables.

Raw vegetables and fruit juices feel so good because they provide our bodies with the enzymes that keep our tissues fit and energy levels high.

But juicing isn’t for everyone. Your first recipes may not taste great and it may take all of your will and stamina to down that first glass. But consistency is the key to the juicing diet as with all things weight loss. Phoenix fitness experts recommend that you try to stay organic when picking out fruits and vegetables for juicing. It’s okay if you can’t find any, but understand that organics usually have double the nutritional value of commercially grown foods. Or if you can grow your own, it would be more economical and even healthier.

Apart from the usually foul taste of some vegetable juices, another problem that some people encounter is that of stomach irritation. So when you decide to start a juicing diet, make sure there are no important events or vacations coming up. Stay on the alert for an upset stomach. It is usually caused by citrus fruit juices as these have the most powerful cleansing effect among all fruits and vegetables. Reduce the amounts that you drink, and keep at the diet and you will get better.

Recommendations

Fasting has been well studied in western medicine as well as Chinese and Ayurvedic systems. It has been acknowledged as a valid way of cleansing our bodies and losing weight.

Each vegetable and fruit has its own set of nutritional and healing properties. So it is important to drink a bit of everything and keep them in rotation. Include, in your diet, juices like cucumber, celery, spinach, kale, oranges and watermelon. All of them taste great.

Carrot juice can provide you with a line-up of vitamins such as A, B, C, D, E, G and K along with potassium, iron and sodium. Carrot is famous in Asia for improving eyesight and skin texture. Science has proven it to be a natural solvent of cancerous growths, ulcers and tumors.

Green veggies such as spinach and kale are a great source of magnesium, zinc, calcium, potassium and of course iron. So you can depend on these to improve the function of your immune system, prevent cancer, increase energy, and improve skin along with a lot of other benefits.

A juicing diet is perfect for those looking for quick weight loss in a safe and effective manner.Yummy Juice Recipes
